We had a fantastic stay in a complex with a hotel, a hostel, and an old school. The hotel facilities were functional and clean. The staff was friendly, flexible, and helpful, providing useful tips and information on local sites, like the glacier hike. The breakfast was large and good, and the chef even offered to cook additional things for my daughter, who is a vegetarian. The location was nice, and we enjoyed swimming in the large outdoor pool, which has a temperature of 35*C and is open until 23:00.
All was perfect.

The hotel was dated and the facilities were run down. the room was small and uncomfortable, and the bed was not comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming hostel located in a breathtaking part of Iceland. the staff was friendly and provided us with excellent tips on excursions to the area. the outdoor pool was an added bonus, with natural thermal water and open until late at night. the rooms were immaculately clean, and the breakfast was large and delicious, providing us with the needed energy to start our day exploring the stunning West Fjords.
The hostel charged an additional fee for bedding and blankets that was not disclosed during the reservation process.

Great location, surrounded by mountains and fjords. The staff were polite and very helpful, providing valuable information on local sites to see and offered delicious food. The largest geothermal pool was warm enough to swim, and swim we did! The outdoor pool is deep on one end, enough to jump safely. In the mornings we enjoyed football as there is a pitch just slightly over the fjord. We had a great time!
There were no major dislikes except that guests must be informed ahead of time that the kitchen closes early. So it is essential to arrive before then or grab some food before the kitchen closes as there are no restaurants nearby.
